Vittoriano (ital. Il Vittoriano) is a monument in honor first king United Italy Victor Emmanuel II. Located on Venice square in Rome, on the slope of Capitol hill. The project was designed by Giuseppe Sacconi in the Empire the spirit of ancient Roman architecture. The construction lasted from 1885 to 1935.
